Hi I'm Den McCarthy, promoter, editor, founder member, of this Norfolk Jazz and Blues Ring website listings based project. I guess if it grows it could be much more than just a website listings project. My previous experience includes a career working Worldwide working on freelance commercial photographic/journalistic safaris, writing local Evening News music columns, local band/artist management and running the Norwich Rhythm Club at the FBI in the nineties. I have also produced local 'multi act' local theatre music shows, including at The Theatre Royal Norwich (The Greatest R n B Show.....On Legs!)
Here's our Crosswinds(rehearsal) Barn. Onstage, (ex BBC TV Children In Need), Norwich based Accent Band members are seen putting it to good use, with a dress rehearsal/bring your own booze n boogie private party gig. Oct 08. About fifty friends and family attended. A great night in!
